Cherokee Pumping of Savannah, Inc. (CPOS) was initially a satellite location that opened in October 2002 for Cherokee Pumping, Inc. Cherokee Pumping Inc. was established in 1994 by Walker Concrete, then rapidly grew to a multi locational business. We have since grown into our own establishment and assumed the Cherokee Pumping of Savannah, Inc. name and new ownership in October 2022.
Over our many years of operation, we have established an extensive client base and have worked on many major projects, including but not limited to, Chatham Co. Courthouse, Plant Riverside District, GPA Projects, SCAD establishments and the Hyundai Meta Site. Savannah, Ga is one of the quickest growing cities in Georgia. Leon Crumley (Vice President)
Bio:
Born and raised in Statesboro, GA Leon currently resides in Pembroke, GA
Leon has been in the concrete construction industry for over 2 decades. With proven field and management experience in all aspects of the concrete pumping business, Leon drives our core value “Commitment from start to finish.” Beneath his Vice President title is a seasoned concrete pump operator that can and will elevate your pumping project to success.
His outgoing personality and attention to customer service is above par. He is committed to making sure all your pumping needs are met and executed in a professional and timely manner.
Ashley Walls Jolly (Office Manager)
Bio:
Ashley has over 20 years of customer service experience, with the last 6 years dedicated to managing concrete pumping activities in Savannah. Day-to-day operations only run smoothly with a focused approach to client and employee needs. People first, has been Ashley’s approach to maintain strong internal and external relationships. In a service heavy industry, like concrete pumping, staying positive and displaying confidence, has been and will continue to be Cherokee’s commitment to each and every client.
Brent Nessmith
Bio:
Brent Nessmith is a Savannah, Georgia native that comes to our CPOS team with over 26 years’ experience in the ready-mixbusiness. Brent has worked for multiple ready-mix companies where he has produced and delivered over two million yards of concrete in the Savannah and surrounding areas.
As a skilled sales manager, he has a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. He possesses a strong understanding of the ready-mix methodologies and tools, allowing him to effectively plan, execute, and monitor projects from initiation to closure. With excellent communication and leadership abilities, he thrives in cross-functional teams, coordinating resources and ensuring seamless collaboration. Known for his problem-solving skills and ability to mitigate risks, he consistently drives successful project outcomes.
Brent has worked closely throughout the years with the Cherokee Pumping team and in February of 2024 made the change from the concrete producing side of the ready-mix business and joined our CPOS team as our Savannah area sales manager.
